Introducing Utility P&M Praxis
The Utility Policy & Management Community is pleased to launch Utility P&M Praxis—a new publication initiative designed to help research travel beyond academic audiences and contribute more directly to utility policy, management, and professional practice. 📑 The initiative creates a space for translating credible research and evidence into accessible, useful insights for utility professionals, policymakers, regulators, researchers, and other stakeholders. 💡 Each contribution is centered on three questions: 🔹 What does the research tell us? 🔹 Why does it matter? 🔹 What does it mean for policy and practice? 📚 Contributions may draw from published or forthcoming research, working papers, dissertations or theses, ongoing research projects, applied research, evidence syntheses, research-practice collaborations, data analysis, and other credible sources of evidence. 🎥 The format is intentionally flexible. Contributions might take the form of a written piece, visual explainer, data story, video, recorded presentation, research conversation, interview, or another format that effectively communicates the research and its practical significance. The format is flexible. The research-to-practice purpose is not. 🥰 We welcome contributions from researchers, practitioners, policymakers, students, and research-practice teams working across the broad field of utility policy and management. 🤝 Interested in contributing or collaborating?
