Utility P&M by the Numbers: Growing Membership, Expanding Reach

Utility P&M continues to grow in both membership and reach.

As of August 13, 2026, the Utility Policy & Management Community includes 61 members, reaches 200+ LinkedIn followers, and connects individuals across academia, utilities, government, nonprofits, professional associations, consulting, research, and other sectors.

A few highlights from the latest Membership & Reach Report:
🔹 72% of members are affiliated with universities or colleges
🔹 90 academic institutions are represented across membership and LinkedIn
🔹 LinkedIn followers span 46 industries
🔹 The audience reaches at least 38 U.S. states + DC and 10 countries
🔹 Approximately 66% of LinkedIn followers are outside higher education
🔹 Approximately 85% of followers are in senior or leadership-level categories

These numbers reflect a growing network that combines a strong academic foundation with increasingly broad engagement across policy, management, utilities, and professional practice.
