Add Your Voice to Utility P&M Voices

As we prepare for the inaugural meeting of the Utility Policy & Management Community at the 2026 APPAM Fall Research Conference, we invite our members to contribute to Utility P&M Voices, a special collection of perspectives reflecting the ideas, experiences, and priorities of our growing community. We invite you to respond, in one paragraph, to the following question: What is one idea, challenge, or opportunity that you believe should receive greater attention as utility policy and management evolves—and what role can the Utility Policy & Management Community play in advancing or addressing it? Please email your response to contact@utilitypm.org, along with a headshot and your name, title, and organizational affiliation, by October 20, 2026. Contributions will be compiled into the inaugural edition of Utility P&M Voices, to be shared at our community’s inaugural gathering in Boston on November 7, 2026. Whether you approach utility policy and management as a scholar, student, policymaker, regulator, public manager, practitioner, or utility professional, we hope you will add your voice. Together, these contributions will capture what our community believes deserves greater attention today and help shape the conversations we carry forward.
