We are thrilled to announce that the inaugural Utility Policy & Management Community Meeting will take place at the #2026APPAM Fall Research Conference in Boston.

This gathering marks an important step in building a visible, interdisciplinary, and practice-engaged community focused on utility policy and management.

The community brings together scholars, practitioners, policymakers, regulators, utility professionals, students, and civic leaders working across:

Together, we will introduce the Utility Policy & Management Community, connect with others who share these interests, and begin shaping a community in which members can find colleagues, exchange ideas, build lasting professional relationships, and see their work and perspectives reflected in its future.

The meeting will invite everyone to help define our shared priorities, activities, partnerships, and direction, to create a welcoming intellectual and professional home for people working across utility policy, management, and essential infrastructure systems.
